“Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, eats for a lifetime.”
As a Non-Profit Organization who wants to teach a man to fish rather than just give him a fish, it is our goal to have a home base to work from that offers land for organic farming and hydroponics gardening, shops for tool and clothing making as well as homemade butter, ice cream, and cheeses, educational programs for homemaking, sewing, healthy cooking, home schooling, yoga/anger management, carpentry, survival techniques, music/singing lessons, lumber yard for recycling old buildings, horse stables, herbal studies to name just some of the ideas. We want to expand our level of outreach by offering not only donations to charity, but also the wisdom and resources to provide for oneself, regardless of one’s economic status.
To raise money for charities in need and to raise awareness, starting on the local level, about sustainable living.
To promote ways of living a fulfilling life, apart from the idea that people need to be consumers or depend on government assistance to cover their basic means of survival.
Purchase land, 200+ acres, as our home base to work from. We want to cultivate part of the land for vegetable gardens, greenhouses with hydroponics systems, animal pastors to raise cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, donkeys, horses, and ducks. We want to offer community gardening where anyone may participate in maintaining the farm as well as eating from the land.
On other parts of the land, we want to build our own local shop/grocery where we can offer our goods, both fresh and preserved, to the community. We also want to build trade shops, where our tradesmen can have their own space for production for items such as iron and wooden tools, shoes, clothing, jewelry, cookware, toys, housing/barn construction, fencing, gardening and hydroponics supply store, solar energy supply and installation, donation centers, etc. Please contact us if you have a trade or special talent you would like to incorporate that we may have not mentioned.
We want to build horse stables to board horses for the community, adopt, breed, offer training and care classes, riding lessons, nature trail tours, etc.
We want to use part of the land as a lumbar yard, where we can collect wood, nails, cement blocks, windows, doors, cabinetry, etc from demolished homes and buildings. We want to recycle materials used for construction and use them in our programs for making home repairs, building homes, barns, and sheds etc for the needy.
We want to provide manufacturing of milk, butter, cheese, and ice cream onsite.
We want to build our own Montessori type institution where we can offer a commonplace of learning for home schooled children, homeless children, orphan and girls homes, daycare programs for working parents, etc. Children would not only be learning math, English, science, history, art, language, and fitness in a social environment, but also agricultural wisdom and the ways of a natural, healthy, and liberating lifestyle. We would also like to set up extracurricular programs for the children to be involved in dance, theater, sports, music lessons, and gymnastics.
We want to have a camp ground onsite available to the community for leisure, but also offer boarding to participants who come from another area and want to work on the land, also to homeless families, and to children’s activity programs for summer camp.
We want to offer counseling to both children and adults.
We want to offer parenting and la maze classes.
We will need farming equipment and various tools, vehicles, dump trucks, canoes, RV’s, books, stage and lighting materials, kitchen supplies, sewing supplies, fitness equipment, fencing, animals, and thousands of talents and passionate people.
With all these resources established as our home base, we can provide assistance in limitless ways to the needy as far as we can reach.
